A display about the history of the library at Homerton College has been set up at the entrance to the library .
Homerton College library started in the Macaulay Room , then moved to the current Fellow’s Dining Room in 1936. From 1967 it was in the black and white buildings to the north side of the college. These were demolished and the library moved to its present site in 1997 in the Mary Allan building.
The names of the library staff that worked in the library during this period are being traced.
The archive has a web page at http://www.homerton.cam.ac.uk/about/college_archive.html. Please contact me for further information about the archive.
