Research Skills training programme

Dr Emma Coonan, Research Skills & Development Librarian at the University Library (UL), has announced the launch of this term’s Research Skills Programme.

This term there are lots of subject resource sessions on offer including a range of sessions for:

  • History
  • English literature
  • Asian and Eastern collections
  • Humanities
  • Social sciences
  • The University Libary’s special collections.

There are also a number of eresrources and information skills classes:

  • How to find things on your reading list
  • How to do a literature search
  • Referencing without tears

In addition, there are quick guides to both Newton and the new LibrarySearch (which uses AquaBrowser), as well as posters advertising the new Libraries Gateway and orientation tours of the University Library.

Please note that some of the sessions need to be booked in advance.
