Ribbon cutting ceremony for refurbished library

On Monday 15th we had a ‘grand opening’ of the newly refurbished library with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Principal Kate Pretty gave a short speech thanking everyone involved in the project, and then declared the library officially open as Professor Morag Styles (head of the Library Committee) cut the ribbon.

Although the library has been open (and busy) since before the start of term, it feels official now! We hope you enjoy using the refurbished library, and if you haven’t seen our makeover yet, do come along and take a look!
